Description générale
α-Tocopherol is a form of fat-soluble vitamin E and shows anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cell proliferative, and anti-cancer properties.
This substance is listed on the positive list of the EU regulation 10/2011 for plastics intended to come into contact with food.

Application
The analytical standard can also be used as follows:

    Simultaneous determination of vitamin A and all four tocopherol isomers in human serum samples by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) combined with fluorescence detection following their liquid-liquid extraction (LLE)
