Preparation Note :
Poly(ethylene glycol) dissolves in many organic solvents and is readily soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons. It also slightly dissolves in aliphatic hydrocarbons.
Application :
Poly(ethylene glycol) is a chemical fusogen, which mediates the premature chromosome condensation induction in human and rat lymphocytes as well as in rodent spleen cells, and spleen and whole body cells of newborn mice.
